Joan Dais
I’m a Licensed Occupational Therapist with 20+ years of experience treating our geriatric and adult population in areas of cardio-pulmonary, orthopaedics, stroke and neurological disorders. I graduated from SUNY Stony Brook Health Science Center in 2002. My passion is to enhance the quality of life of my patient through restoration, adaptation, compensation and modification.

I graduated with a MS in Exercise and sports science from CUNY Brooklyn college in 2018 and went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Touro College in 2021. I am currently practising in New York with Board Certified License.My approach is rooted in Evidence based practice and ensuring each patient receives best possible care.I am passionate about helping my patient’s achieve their goals and enjoying a pain free life.I have worked with wide variety of orthopaedics and athletic injuries ,also have experience to care for Geriatrics populations.During my spare time, I like to enjoy outdoor running, cardio and strength training.

Alex graduated from Hofstra University in 2018 where he received his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Since then, he has worked in both omecare and outpatient facilities treating patients of all ages and diagnoses. Alex is currently working towards receiving his certification in hand therapy.

Shruti Shah, PT is a Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State. She Graduated from city university of New York , Brooklyn college in 2011 with Master of science in exercise science and rehabilitation . She did her Bachelor of Physical Therapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health science, India. She has hands on experience treating various Orthopaedic , neurologic, and sports injury cases in all age group patients. She believes great clients, a positive atmosphere, and a very knowledgeable staff makes her occupation very enjoyable. She is passionate about “assisting her patients achieve their individual goals – helping young athletes regain their confidence and strength and the older patients to regain their independence to improve their quality of life.
